New Jersey Primary Care Association’s Data Management department recently updated its county level database document as an Information Resource Guide for New Jersey’s communities. In addition added information and statistics on our FQHCs which includes, but is not limited to, the number of patients served. In this document, information is presented to give the reader a detailed view of our counties with state benchmarks. The database includes demographic information, health need indicators, and health care access points at the county level. We have also incorporated some National and Rural Health data resources which will prove very informative for our new and existing FQHCs. NJPCA is able to provide a great resource for our community, legislatures, and advocacy groups by assimilating ideas from different sources including Census Bureau, NJDHSS, NACHC, REACH database, and Center for Disease Control (CDC). This database is a centralized repository aimed towards collecting and disseminating data and resources that are relevant to New Jersey community clinics and health centers.
