NJPCA Commemorates World Cancer Day

 

On World Cancer Day, NJPCA remembers all who have been lost to cancer, while honoring cancer survivors and those who are still battling the disease. The theme for World Cancer Day, “I am and I will – Together, all of our actions matter” recognizes that we all have a role to play in cancer prevention.

To commemorate this day, activities, virtual events, social media promotion, and other types of outreach are being planned to showcase the steps that can be taken to further support people with cancer and their families.  To hear a story from a cancer survivor of how she overcame breast cancer with the help of her family and friends, click here.
