“Training the Next Generation: Strategies for Strengthening the Healthcare Workforce.” The 2025 Annual Conference Workforce session featured a presentation from Mary Blankson, Chief Nursing Officer, Moses/Weitzman Health System, Executive Director of the National Institute for Medical Assistant Advancement (NIMAA), and Meaghan Angers, Senior Program Manager of the National Technical Assistance Partners (NTAP) on Clinical Workforce Development. This session helped participants understand current research and best practices for preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals. Attendees explored replicable workforce development models, including NIMAA and PGR, and gained knowledge and confidence in using tools and emerging strategies to implement and strengthen their own initiatives.
