NJPCA hosted the Clinical Directors Peer Support Work Group training, “Utilizing Pharmacotherapy to Manage Obesity and Diabetes.” This virtual training was conducted on September 19, 2024 from 11:00AM to 12:30PM. The training featured a presentation from Priya Jaisinghani, MD, Clinical Assistant Professor, NYU Grossman School of Medicine. The training focused on the role of pharmacotherapy to manage obesity in population health and clinical decisions. It demonstrated how the use of new therapeutic options can be used to manage patients’ weight, diabetes and other comorbidities.
