Responsibilities/Duties:
- Provide primary and preventative care for patients and ensure Standard of Care for the patient
- Conducts well-woman exams, including Pap smears and other screenings
- Provide care for common gynecological conditions and sexually transmitted diseases
- Offering family planning services and preconception/prenatal care
- Performs office-based procedures
- Prescribes medications and therapies
- Counsels and educates patients
- Analyze and interpret data, formulate diagnosis and problem lists, and establish plans to manage common and complex gynecological conditions and health problems
- Treat problems within their scope of competence and exercise judgment on problems requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation
- Contributes to quality performance measures, regulatory compliance, training programs, and research initiatives. Precepts and collaborates with other staff members/disciplines to improve the patient experience
- Participates in team meetings and activities of PCMH (Primary Care Medical Home) directly or indirectly
- Enters into Joint Collaboration Agreements with one or more NHCAC Advance Practice Nurses.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Active Medical License in the State of New Jersey
- Board Certification in OB/GYN Medicine
- Current BCLS, Current DEA Certificate
