Responsibilities/Duties:
As our new Dental Hygienist, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering top-notch dental care with these exciting responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and scaling, apply fluoride, sealants, and even root planning to keep our patients’ smiles shining bright
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ oral health – gums, teeth, and bone structure – and document any red flags
- Create personalized treatment plans to promote healthy, happy smiles
- Educate patients on best practices for oral hygiene and prevention – your guidance can change lives!
- Assist our amazing dentists with procedures and respond quickly when dental emergencies arise
- Stay HIPAA compliant – we take confidentiality seriously!
- Provide care with the highest standards of professionalism, making sure every patient feels comfortable and well taken care of.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- A graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
- A registered Dental Hygienist
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and people skills to connect with patients and teammates alike
- A passion for high-quality, patient-centered care
- Knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and safety (bonus points if you know your stuff!)
